Dying white (bleached) hair back to natural blonde?

I have naturally something like light-medium blonde hair (I'm Finnish) but I wanted to have the lightest hair possible. Now I have them thanks to my hairdresser (she did one bleach). They might have very little yellow to them but I think you can say they are white and I HATE it. So, is it possible to apply some blonde dye to white hair? Can I buy one of those sold in markets or should I go to my hairdresser? I really miss my old hair. My new hair look so artificial and unnatural. Thank god they are not too dry or damaged (one bleach only) Now that I think about this, it sounds reasonable to say that my hair could turn into any colour because the starting point is white= no/very little colour/pigment. But I'm not crazy enough to do anything before someone wiser answers.. I'm not a hair professional :)

Bleach bark hair to a bright blonde?

i used to dye my hair black but i have been growing it our for months now and had it cut short not long ago so there is only a couple of inches of dark left i have been using head and sholders lots because it striped the colour, so the bits of my hair that where black are now a reddy brown colour. What i really want is my bright bleached blonde hair backk but im scared all my hair will drop out, even though there is only a little bif of dark left.If i bleach it my self i know it will end up damaged and a orange colour! Is there any way i can get the rest of the black out with out bleaching it lots and how can i prepair my hair for all the bleaching? help me ,any one out there who has done this tell me how you did it i just want my blonde hair back :(

help help help

xx

Bleach bark hair to a bright blonde?

I would suggest going to a stylist to have this done. Bleaching your whole head can be dangerous and you will probably need a toner to get rid of the orange tones. An alternative would be to do a heavy highlight to get back into the style without as much commitment. Since you have cut most of your black hair out, that shouldn't be a problem. You will probably need a trim after to cut of the dead ends. Good Luck!

ok go to the beauty store and ask them what product you can use prior to bleaching it. And i hope youll be using a toner after you bleach it cause then it will be brassy yellow. Good Luck

How can brown hair get blonde roots if your natural color is brown?

I have natural brown hair with some red in it(natural). The front of my bangs (right where it parts in the middle) is blonde at the roots and goes down my bangs a little. It goes down more it seems by the week. My oldest daughter has the same thing. Her hair is a sandy blonde to light brown but her bangs are pure bright blonde(where mine is) What can make it do that? It is nowhere else. And no it has never been dyed. I had blonde hair when I was little, it changed to brown when I was 4 and started getting the red a few years ago. Just find it odd that my daughter has it to.

How can brown hair get blonde roots if your natural color is brown?

the same thing happens to me, especially in the summer (I don't know if this is the case with you) which leads me to believe it is a natural highlight from the sun.

How can brown hair get blonde roots if your natural color is brown?

Because of the time of year, hair quite often gets lighter. Mine does the same thing, then darkens again in autumn and winter. If your hair does this, then you have nothing to worry about, but if it is always lightening, I have no explanation.

How can brown hair get blonde roots if your natural color is brown?

If it's lighter at the roots and darker on the ends, it sounds like you may have iron in your water. It can darken a persons hair. If you have city water, then it isn't supposed to have iron in it..(IT still does) I know from experience. Another way to tell if your water has iron in it is that you will be using a lot of conditioner and your hair will feel dry or brittle. If you ever get a perm while washing your hair in this water the solution will turn purple, dark purple, but your hair won't. Most of the time I can smell iron in a persons hair. If it isn't iron in your water, then it is some other mineral/chemical doing this.

The color of your roots is the natural color of your hair. the roots have not been exposed to the water as much as your ends have, therefore they are lighter. Iron will also add quite a bit of weight to your hair as well.

The iron needs to be stripped off and then under all that deposit will be your beautiful hair. Your beautiful hair is still there,,just coated.

Blonde hair dye?!?!?

I usually dye my hair at the salon, but it is so expensive and they never get it right so i wanna do it as home. Last time i did it at home it turned white and the time before that it turned a reddish color and i had to go to a salon to fix it. This time I have brown hair and i wanna get it blonde with NO red in it whatsoever because i do NOT look good as a redhead. Please help!!! My hair is naturally brown but i got it colored brown a few months ago and it is getting old.

Blonde hair dye?!?!?

Hi, I actually read this really good article about it, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

http://www.carefair.com/Hair-and-Nails/G...

Blonde hair dye?!?!?

why dye your hair blonde? just get highlights to enhance that brown you've got. Blonde is no good.

Blonde hair dye?!?!?

oh don't worry dear, you're growing that blond hair right from your skull...

Blonde hair dye?!?!?

it wont turn blonde, it will turn darker blonde, or alighter brown.

Blonde hair dye?!?!?

You are not a cosmotologist, when you go lighter it is lifting the color, not dying it. Leave it to a professional, trust me, it will cost alot more for someone to fix your mistakes.

Blonde hair dye?!?!?

If you are trying to lighten you hair more than 1-2 shades defenitely go to the salon. They get it done in one try, at home it will take youe a lot of hair dyes to achieve that color, which means a lot of damage to the hair. Defenitely look around or ask for salons that can help you achieve the color you want.

If you do it by yourself, you hair will be many different colors. You are lightening it one-two levels above. Go to a salon. Let a proffesional handle it.

Blonde hair and going swimming and in the sun on holiday....?

My hair is bleached blonde but with some fine light brown streaks through it. I'm going on holiday to Majorca and will be in the pool (but don't tend to put my head under the water!!) and in the sunshine lots, can anyone recommend a spray or something to use on my hair during the day that will protect against UV from the sun and stop chlorine in the pool damaging my hair?

I've seen this at Boots:

http://www.boots.com/shop/product_detail...

Are there any alternatives or does anyone think that stuff is good?

Blonde hair and going swimming and in the sun on holiday....?

when ever i am in the sun on holiday i coat my hair in a rich conditioner and comb through, it just looks like your hair is wet but it protects you hair in the sun

Blonde hair and going swimming and in the sun on holiday....?

I use a special oil spray... it's fabulous!! I bought it here in Italy at my hairdresser... the brand is 'MATRIX'... it's said to be number 1in American saloons....

try it!!!

Blonde hair and going swimming and in the sun on holiday....?

maybe try this one from Avon: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hair-Dry-End-Serum... and the best part is that they don't test on animals :-)

I think you should keep ur hair as red... it brings out ur eyes ! Plus it matches ur complexion... always dye ur hair that matches the tone or ur skin

i love your hair now. its so gorgeous and vibrant. Otherwise, the black hair, but its not as eye-catching as the red.

btw, your eye color is really pretty.

Lightening blonde hair? any tips?

I have naturally golden mouse/blonde hair, but I would like to make it much lighter for the summer. Does anybody know how to get a lighter blonde colour without damaging the hair or making it look fake? Chamomile works but id like to make it lighter still

Lightening blonde hair? any tips?

Lemon juice and Sun-in are both VERY drying to the hair...plus with sun-in it leaves your hair looking like you need a touch up...do some highlights with a color 4-6 levels lighter than your natural hair, not bleach, ..this looks more like natural hair, which is never the same color all over...Good Luck

Lightening blonde hair? any tips?

You can try getting a box of hair color just a few shades lighter than your natural color. You can get highlights so you are not processing all of your hair. Or you can get this stuff called "sun in" Good luck

Lightening blonde hair? any tips?

Lemon! And in combination with sun light, it works even better.

Lightening blonde hair? any tips?

You can use Sun-In or lemon juice to lighten hair and bring out blonde highlights. For either of them to work you must apply them to damp hair and go out in the sun. The longer you stay out in the sun, the lighter the highlights will show up and there will also be more of them.
