My white blonde hair...?

Okay, this sounds really, really silly. I have NATURALLY white blonde hair. I am grown, and have been told it won't go darker like most hair does. My question is, why do people insist on TELLING ME my hair is dyed ? Yeah, telling me. Not asking haha. I suffered bullying as a child because of my hair color, %26amp; I have grown to accept it now....But why would I dye my hair a color to get made fun of ? Just want some of your thoughts. =]

My white blonde hair...?

People spend a lot of money to get hair like yours. If people are teasing you, it's because they're jealous. You have to own that hair, and get a fabulous cut to show it off.

I do understand how hard it can be to have such a distinctive color, however. The salon clients who most want to change their hair color are those with beautiful blonde, red, or jet black hair because they're so sick of people commenting on it. You can find a stylist who will put a golden or beige demi-permanent glaze on it which will give it a beautiful (and different) tone and tremendous shine. Good Luck!

My white blonde hair...?

My mother's hair is the exact same color. I'm guessing that where you are, the population is darker. She got the same reaction when she moved to Connecticut (a lot of Southern Italians here with darker skin and hair than I, a Native American, have.) Just explain that's how people look in the part of the world your family comes from, and if they have anything else to say, tell them it's racist.

The reason most insist on the idea you bleached it is because that color is extremely rare--so much so that most people go their entire lives without seeing a natural example of it. My mother and aunt are two. so I know it happens naturally.

My white blonde hair...?

omG!i die my hair blonde and a while ago it turned blonde white i freaked out but liked it after a while i think people are mean.yeah why would anyone do something thats gonia make them get made fun of.

My white blonde hair...?

My cousin has the same situation. Just know that those people are probably jealous. You should carry a picture of yourself as a child and show your insisters that your hair has always been that color. People always demand to know where I get my hair highlighted. My hair is natural and that don't take that for an answer. I think it is funny that people think all pretty or unusual hair is dyed. There had to be an example for white blonde hair dye and for highlights! LOL!

My white blonde hair...?

Just ignore the comments..Or ask them, "what color have you been coloring your hair Lately?" and leave it at that...

My white blonde hair...?

there are some peolie that no matter wat u say they dont care so they think u are lying. and mabey some of them like u. Also the people or person that was picking on u might say that because the person thinks who could anyone havve hair like that so they picked on u.

My white blonde hair...?

Perhaps this is not directly related to your question, but if I were you, I'd go to the best salon I could afford and get a type of haircut that would really show off the blonde-ness of your hair!! to hell with what people think or say!! remember one of my favorite old sayings: " I am not responsible for what people think"....good luck......

Red or Blonde Hair?!! Help!!!?

Red or Blonde Hair?!! Help!!!?

I like the red..

Red or Blonde Hair?!! Help!!!?

blonde!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont like that red color!

Red or Blonde Hair?!! Help!!!?

I'm biased, but I've been both. I like the red better. The attention you get is more serious and more intense. The kind of men who approach me seem to have a lot more class and treat me as a lady.

Having said that, I'm married, so I don't give them the time of day either way...it's just an observation.

Red or Blonde Hair?!! Help!!!?

I think the red would look really good with your complexion and red is not a common color so you will stand out.

Red or Blonde Hair?!! Help!!!?

I recommend you find some photo editing program like GIMP, or get the free version of Photoshop and change your hair colour and see which you prefer. But I would go red because my aunt has red and it is SO cool. People do make blonde jokes (not that I do) so I would do red.

Red or Blonde Hair?!! Help!!!?

RED .........

Red or Blonde Hair?!! Help!!!?

Blonde!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blonde is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!! A lot of guys I know think blondes are really hot.

Red or Blonde Hair?!! Help!!!?

Is blonde hair better than brown hair?

it depends on the person (their skin color, facial features)

Is blonde hair better than brown hair?

brown

Is blonde hair better than brown hair?

what ever you feel better in.

Is blonde hair better than brown hair?

I'm sorry but I think these questions are silly! Blonde, brown, black, red. Why does one have to be better or prettier than the other? Just doesn't make sense to me and what difference does it make, what I think is better or you think is better. There is no correct answer!

Is blonde hair better than brown hair?

I think your natural color is nicer. I am a brunette and not too long a go I highlighted my hair. I learned that I liked my natural colour (I hated the highlights) and I should not try to do anything to change myself because I was happier before I did anything to it. Hope I helped!

Is blonde hair better than brown hair?

link your picture with this question, its not the hair color that matter, its the face... and also... "natural Brown"? i though u said ur natural blond.....someone is lying.....

Is blonde hair better than brown hair?

well in my personal opinion i would choose brown but if people say you look better with brown hair stick with that but if you liked your old color better go with that but on the rare occasion that your stuck on which one to pick get a lighter shade of brown

Is blonde hair better than brown hair?

I use to dye my hair very dark, and my natural color is fairly light. People said it looked very striking. Dark hair has a earth mother, no nonsense look about it, where as blonde hair has a more fragile look. So, it's subjective -- be it blonde, ginger, auburn, brown, or black -- everyone has a different preference.

Is blonde hair better than brown hair?

yes blonde is much better

Orange/pink/blonde hair want platinum blonde?

Ok so in my title it says what i have. I bleached my hair yes and PLEASE no salon suggestions. I was thinking about using manic panic virgin snow toner and shimmer lights shampoo to get my hair to what i want. It really isn't really dark but it is just darkish orange, orange, pale pink with some blonde in the front. And i don't want to look stupid like i do now and i really really really want platinum blonde hair. Will this work, what i'm trying to do?

Orange/pink/blonde hair want platinum blonde?

If your hair is bleached the blonde parts will take up that dye your talking about but all the pink and orange will not because its just a color coat, you would need to bleach your hair again

I use to have bleached blonde hair that I dyed pink and when I tryed to bleach it blonde again it washed out all the cuticle in my hair so it became just like jelly and fell out!

Your best bet is to either let it just grow out or to dye it a darker color I would say a brown/red because of all the pink and orange

Orange/pink/blonde hair want platinum blonde?

TO get a white colour you are best bleaching to a pale lemon colour and then using a toner to remove the yellow tones from the hair and bring it down to white. Using the colour wheel theory lilac toners remove yellow tones (these are also often called white toners). Special Effects and Manic Panic both make a good lilac toner. You could then either leave your hair the white colour or use a different vegetable dye such as Crazy Color Platinum or STargazer White to get the desired shade. These are temp colours so will only last ba few washes or a few weeks depending on the brand/colour used.

I have blonde hair and I wanted to know what colours I could put with it to jazz it up, not just blo

For example like browns can put in red or blonde or black and stuff. I just want some ideas instead of just blonde highlights every time. I'm 15 with medium length hair. Please help, I'm in a rut.

p.s. i originally wanted to go darker but i know i look better blonde but it's so boring so just any colours that go with it would be lovely

I have blonde hair and I wanted to know what colours I could put with it to jazz it up, not just blonde foils.

try a very faint redish/brown, that'll suit ya.

i saw dat in a magazine and it looked stunning

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

Here's my problem. I have very dingy, dishwater blonde hair that is nearly light brown. I had professional highlights a year ago but just a light job of them. I think they're mostly gone now. I had a perm May 2006. I was going to go to a pro and have my hair dyed this weekend for a big event, however, I was laid off from my job yesterday so clearly I cannot afford color! My hairdresser refuses to give me any suggestions for an over the counter product from Walmart, Sally's or otherwise. I'd be fine with a wash out but she said when you go lighter blonde, many times the washout's never fade and you wind up with a "line" as your hair grows out. Is there anything out there I could buy that won't totally screw up my hair? I would just like to go to a pretty, light blonde. I'm afraid of what sun-in would do to my hair with the old perm in it. I've never tried it before and I'm also worried that I won't know what shade to buy. I'm not really brunette and I'm not really blonde!

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

Peroxide is good in small doses, but it also tends to make the hair brittle and break easily. I would try a Sally's lightining product b/c most of the hairdressers that work there have used them and would be able to tell you a safe way to apply it. Lemon juice just dries out the scalp and then you get Dandruff really bad. If your going to use peroxide then dilude it by adding it to your shampoo and shampoo twice instead of once... that way it won't hurt your hair as bad.

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

lemon juice works great!

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

poor a little peroxide on a comb and run it thru your hair daily, after 3-7 days it will lighten, continue until you get the gradual effect you want.

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

lemon juice

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

sun-in is too strong a formula. it turned my hair yellow one summer and then i grew my hair out with that line you talked about. but now i use lemon juice when i go out in the sun, and it is a really mild way to golden up dirty blonde hair (like yours and mine) good luck.

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

Spray lemon juice on your hair every day and blow dry with hairdryer and then wash and condition hair.

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

if you go to sally's, they usually have someone working in there who's pretty familiar with professional products. you can do it yourself...i did with products from sally. it turned out pretty good. people thought i had it professionally done. you can do highlights with a cap too. you'll need developer (30 volume for all over color works good) and color-they make developer and color that go together. get a squeeze bottle and mix them in there. use gloves. essentially, you'll be buying everything that comes in a box of color but professional quality and more of it.

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

"Lemon juice is a well-known hair lightener that is natural and effective, but the acid in lemon juice can be very hard on the skin and hair. If you want to lighten dishwater blonde hair with lemon juice, rinse the hair daily with a tablespoon of lemon juice mixed with a gallon of warm water until the desired color is achieved. Although this hair lightening method will take time, it is effective, and it isn閳ユ獩 as damaging as full-strength lemon juice or other hair lightening methods."

--tho i didnt answer it myself... atleast i tried

i also think the peroxide tip is helpful, i had the same hair type when i was younger

i combed in peroxide and rinsed 10-30 minute later and it got drastically lighter

also used lemon juice and it worked... but i used straight lemon juice not mixed with water and slept on it... repeating the process till my hair was lightenend enough...

dont know how it'll work on permed hair...

but it can't hurt to try

and the 'line' is roots

How do I lighten my dishwater blonde hair?

Chicpower, hair color and a perm are both chemical processes on your hair. If your hair is long then that is another issue. The perm has broken down your hair. If it is damages then hot oil treatments are needed before you attempt to add color. Loreal colors will lighten and in most cases look natural. The new growth of hair will take the color different than the old hair that had color before then the chemical action of a perm in May. The new growth will take the color different than the old hair. Hair spray and gels can make you hair look dry and dull. The pretty hair is the hair that shines.

Dying blonde hair...?

I have naturally ash blonde hair, but it has been highlighted for the last few years. It now has lowlights in it, with lighter blonde. I want to die it all brown, is that recommended or not? I don't want green hair! Thankyouu xxx

Dying blonde hair...?

The frequent dying will damage your hair, but will not turn it green.

Dying blonde hair...?

if you want to go darker you can try a semi permanent colour you can get really great results and its quite cheap to have done even in a salon

Dying blonde hair...?

It will look green if you go from bright blonde to brown!!! I like naturally blonde hair I think it looks good. I think if you want to dye it go more blonde. One time this girl I knew with naturally blonde hair dyed her hair brown and she kinda looked goth. I have naturally brown hair and I love it but it goes with my skin tone and complextion. I would stay blonde if I were you!

Dying blonde hair...?

yes you can dye your hair brown. It will not turn green. Make sure you choose a natural color. You should go to a salon to get this done if you want it done correctly. They will know what you mean by natural. They have natural, ash and golden shades. Go with the natural. Make sure you do a deep conditioning treatment after you color your hair and leave it in your hair for 15 minutes under the dryer. Also, get your ends trimmed, it's always good to do that after you color your hair it gives it a little more life. I hope this helps!!

Dying blonde hair...?

i would go to a salon if i were you, have a pro do it so nothing goes wrong...

Dying blonde hair...?

It should be fine to color it, but if you are worried about it, find a salon that specializes in coloring. It might cost more than doing this yourself, but the results will be worth it. I too am sometimes nervous about any changes I make to my hair so I spend the extra money to be safe. My husband thinks I spend too much time being concerned with my hair. It's a girl thing. With all that I have done over the years to my hair, I am surprised that I have any left at all. Hope you have good results with your color.

Dying blonde hair...?

I have done blonde to brown before at home and it worked out fine, but if you are a little worreid then get it done in a salon. Good luck

Dying blonde hair...?

if you have really light hair you normally have to dye it red 1st then brown ontop to get the colour right or it may go tingy green, if its just parts the brown may look lighter in places and you may need to do it twice. this however weakens your hair. if you go to a hairdresser they can do it right for you but if you do it at home, save some dye to go over lighter areas afterwards

Dying blonde hair...?

Your hair will only turn green if you put the brown straight over , you need a colour that has a red in it the red will stop your hair from getting a tinge of green in it , get something like a chestnut , (you only see the the red from the chestnut when the light shines on it ) after a few weeks put the chestnut on again after a while the red will start to fade out then the next time you come to do your colour you can just put the brown in ,

Dying blonde hair...?

ok i had bleached blonde hair and i coloured it dark brown and it took! go for it love! x
