Blonde hair on a brown-eyed girl?

my hair is currently a sandy blonde/light brown color. but it's really dingy and mousy. i have a different complexion than most caucausian girls (olive, and i stay tanned through the winter) and i have gold/brown eyes, depending on the light. also, i have pretty much the same colored eyebrows as my hair.

not to boast, but i look A LOT like Emma Watson. i've been asked a couple times if i am. haha. hope that gives you a good idea on my general look.

would a light blonde look good on me? and if so, what type of blonde? more golden, or towards white (i think the whiter shades would look best)

but it sounds like if you got brown dyed underneath and on the ends of your hair,

I have blonde hair and brown eyes and I also have an olive complexion. My natural hair color is blonde and dingy as well. After lots of experimenting with hair color I have found that light ash blonde works really well with my complexion. I have also used ultra light ash blonde. I really haven't gone wrong with a light blonde as long as I used a color that was ash. No golden or just plain light blonde. Good luck to you and your hair!!

EDIT: In the pic Emma's hair is ash blonde. To get that color stay away from the golden blondes. You will get more red highlights with golden colors.
