My fiance and i both have brown hair but i am wondering if our baby girl has a chance of having blonde hair? My mom and sister have blonde hair, and my fiance's mom and sister also have blonde hair.

me, him, my dad and his dad all have brown hair.

alright here is the story of my cuz: she has blonde hair, her husband has black hair. baby #1 (derek) was born with the reddest hair ive ever seen, its still bright red to this day and he is almost 7, baby #2 (eathan) is almost 4 and he has black hair like his daddy. baby #3 (hayliey grace born jan 30, 08!!! yah!) has blonde hair with red whisps. truly there is no telling what color hair your baby can be born with! lol. just the luck of the draw i guess!

I think it is really a toss up. My dad has blonde and my mom has brown and when I was born it was black. Now it is naturally blonde and I always thought that was funny how it works. I wanted to know my baby's probable eye color and then have a thing online that shows you which genes are more prominent and the chances so I am sure they have something similar for hair. It really just depends on the genetics. Blonde hair is a recessive gene, and may just fade out. Less and less people have the red hair gene, and the blonde hair gene is becoming increasingly faint. If your ancestors and relatives have blonde hair, then its def possible. It's the luck of the draw

I am blonde and both of my parents had dark brown hair. My dad's mom and my mom's sister had blonde hair. In other words they both carried the recessive trait for blonde. At this rate one out of four children will have blonde hair. I have 2 sisters and a brother who all have dark hair. I married a man with blond hair and all three of my children are blonde. Its all about possibilities of the genetic combinations.
