Brassy blonde hair!!!!?

I have just had my hair coloured blonde in a professional salon with an all over tint and bleached hilites through the t bar, the colour looks ok on first look but if you lift my fringe up it is bright orange (which you can see when my hair is up) I think the problem is simply the base colour is too golden for my hair, it kind of looks like when a red head has bleached hilites and my natural colour is brown, i'm asking my hairdresser friend to do it next time but can anyone reccomend a colour i should buy, i used to use an 11.1 high lift tint which went brassy over time but is this the best i'm gonna get.....nice for 4 weeks, orange for 2 or anyone have a miracle actual blonde hair dye i can try!!!

ps. It cost me 鎷?5 and i'm fed up paying when i think it was better with a home dye!!!

Thanks xxx

Clairol Professional's Miss Clairol line makes a specific shade collection called "Brass Busters." Obviously, these are intended to keep the brass away.

You can pick them up at your local Sally Beauty Supply and tone down your brassiness.

I don't think you should dye your hair then if you can't afford salon prices. ANY kind of hair color (no matter what people tell you)will damage your hair. I'm have natural dark brown hair and now I have bleach blonde hair. When I first did my hair blonde I did it myself and it turned all brassy. And it gets really dry. I have to go to the salon every month or two and get my roots redone and it costs around $59-80 each time depending on if I need toner or anything else. To have your hair colored you've got to have money to get a good job done on it professionally. If not then its not worth it because it will look horrible otherwise. Especially going from brown to blonde.

Go back to the stylist and get it fixed! Any reputable salon will fix their mistakes for free. If you are paying to have it done you deserve to have it done the right way. I'm a stylist and I'd rather fix someones hair and have them say they were ultimately happy than to have them tell everyone I can't do my job. Don't be afraid to get what you deserve as a client.

I wouldn't mess with the blonde yourself.

yes nice and easy beige blonde will fix your problem.

I always use the L'Oreal Les Blondissimes range and use the "lightest ash blonde". There's no need for pre-lightening with it. The Garnier Nutrisse extra blonde shade is also good. The trick is to always ask for "ash" as this tones down any orange naturally present in your hair. As you've just had it done, try an semi-permanent ash colour (such as harmony / Castings) over it to tone it down a bit. Use a shampoo and conditioner for platinum hair to keep it that way (loads of varieties in Superdrug)

Yes you right. don' t change you colour yet. use a toners, like beige blonde or ash blonde. it will remove that yellow...
