Okay I'm doing a rocker style. I'm going to dye just the very top layer blonde, the rest underneath black. This is the look I want, but I have a light brown/strawberry blonde/reddish color hair. (Yeah people debate on it all the time.) Will dying that color hair bleach blonde go orange or not the color I want? My mom insists that I'll have a disater and that blonde just won't work over my color hair. (Yeah she's trying to think of anything to get me to not do it. Thank goodness for Christmas money from Grandma!) Hehehe. ANYWAYS, will it work or go orange???

no it shouldnt, i went from very dark blonde light brown hair to bleach blonde for years and never had a ounce of trouble, it sounds awsome let me see the pics when ur done ;)

it depends on how long u leave the dye on if do-it-urself, i'd just go to the salon they will do it corectly w/o the burdone

You would look like avril lavigne if you dyed it blonde. However if you are doing this the first time I might suggest getting it done professionally. It usually costs about seventy dollars. It might turn orange if you use the wrong type of formula.
