yes start at the roots and leave for 5 mins the do the rest but be careful not to leave it on too long because it can cause burns to the scalp and if its still not the disired look u can try again but your hair will become EXREAMLLY porus and hard to manage. the best way to take the yellow out is to use a toner and a special blonde shampoo

Well there are certain hair products for roots.....but this time find a good brand that sells hair die and root touch up and just buy both and use one when needed and the other to do some tough ups. Make sure to note the color so you can go to the store and buy some more when needed. Hope I helped!

i don't know if putting peroxide on your hair is a good idea..you should re-dye it with the color you want. then if your hair begins to get yellow in it again, you can use a shampoo made by Clairol (its called Shimmering Lights) that takes the yellow out of your hair. the shampoo is in a purple bottle , the shampoo is purple itself. you can use it once or twice a week and it keeps your hair from yellowing. (you can even find a generic version of it at beauty supply stores). I have naturally medium blonde hair and color it a lighter shade and normally after a few weeks it too will begin to yellow but with my shampoo, it takes it right out !! You will love it.

YOur hair will process faster at the scalp because of the heat on your scalp. Leave it for the last.Just keep checking for the desired results..
