Dying Blonde Highlighted hair, blonde at home?

I have highlighted blonde hair, its pretty light and my roots are i guess a dirty blonde? Not soo dark, but they look darker because I got my hair highlighted lighter. But now my roots are more noticeable. So I am thinking of dyingmy hair at home, but I was wondering if this will make my hair orange? Or what kind of hair dye to us? I want to stay blonde.

Use a light blond. Put it the roots first and then on the rest of your hair (check box for "touch up" times). Most people get orange hair because they don't leave the color on long enough. So even if it looks really dark while the color is on, LEAVE IT ON as long as indicated on the box.

I am dirty blonde haired, and I used red highlights, and they ended up blonde, I have no red in my hair so that is why it's blonde instead of red, but it might work with you.
