I have lots of blonde highlights, so will my hair turn out blonde if i dye the whole thing?

I have been trying to get my hair blonde, on a budget for the last couple months. Naturally its a light brownish, with a reddish tint to it. First I started off just dying my hair with blonde hair dye myself, and it ALWAYS came out a weird reddish color. So then the hair stylist told me to start getting blonde and light brown highlights to get rid of the copperish red color, and i've had about 4 sessions of expensive highlights and my hair still isnt completely blonde, and im thinking about just getting blonde hair dye and hoping it will lift since about 75% of my hair is blonde or light brown . could someone tell me if this is the right thing to do? thanks....

well...it would..but your hair line would be a different color.It would be the color of your natural hair color....don't do it.

I wouldn't do it either. The hair that doesn't have highlights will still turn red. You should just ask for blonder highlights next time you go. Or find a smaller shop that's cheaper than a pricey salon and you will get the same results.

I am not a hairdresser, but there is not a woman alive who hasn't messed her hair up. my advice to you is to go to SALLYS BEAUTY SUPPLY store, nearest to you, and ask for advice on coloring and highlting your hair properly. i would'nt spend another penny on it , without solid advice from a professional. email CLARIOL. they are great giving solid advice. good luck!!!!!

get some of the cloths you pilpher from victoryas secret and go to that hospital you work at as a receptonist and find a good psyciatrist !!!!!!!!!!!

If you pull red . you want to go the opposite color on the chart ,witch is green . Better know as ash blond .
