Blonde Hair Care With Brunette Hair???

I have light brown hair and I'm going to get blondish highlights to lighten up my hair and I was wondering what would happen if I used this stuff in my hair...It's basically hair care for blondes. I just thought if I used the stuff in the first link, it would boosten my blonde highlights cuz I already used the brunette one, but it hid my highlights.

Definitely use the blonde hair care if you want to make your highlights pop.

I am a brunette with blonde highlights and when I use hair care for blondish hair it makes them look really cute in the summer... but, still subtle and not too skunk-stripe-ish :)

And, try the lemon trick (at the top) for sure.

thats perfect. the blonde stuff will def boost your highlights. i think my hair stylist told me that that is exactly what you should do if you want to make your highlights brighter and brillant.

Stick with using products for blonde's. Redken has a great line called Blonde Glam that is for natural or color treated blonde hair. Also if you have a lot of minerals in your water (such as well water) it can leave a nasty yellow or orange deposit on the blonde after time so I would suggest using a blue shampoo every so often like Matrix So Silver. It will help keep the highlights fresh. If you don't want to use salon products the Sun Silk should work. Stay away from Panteen though because it has too much wax in it. I hope that this helps you out a little.
