I used to be properly blonde when I was little- white blonde until about 6 years old when its started to get gradually a darker shade of blonde. But (stupidly) a fair few years ago I wanted dark hair so dyed over it and it never was properly blonde again. My hair is a big sheet of dyed hair and I have no idea what my real colour is, except my roots are quite dark brown =S
Basically, I dyed my hair with a blonde dye (Ganier Nutrisse- said no pre-lightening required) and, unsurprisingly, it didn't make me a gorgeous blonde beacon, but it did slightly lighten it. Now I think it will work if I dye it blonde over, but are there any recommendations for what shade, brand etc.?
I'd quite like a shade a little bit darker than http://www.johnfrieda.com/images/salon_n... if possible
And also, what would I have to do to redo my roots if to do the whole I've had to use 2 dyes? =S
All help/advice appreciated =) x
How can I get blonde hair?
Go to a salon and pay to have it done. I feel it is okay to go dark at home, but never go lighter. I never mess with blond out of a box.

Go to a salon and invest in a good stylist..
Your hair isn't something to cut corners and be cheap on.
